Latest Malaysian Engineering Feat: Universiti Darul Naim To Be Completed By June 2007

They say that 'Rome is not built in a day'. But Malaysian graduate unemployment-churning factories universities are; well, not in day, but in a year. From Bernama:

Universiti Darul Naim To Start Academic Term In June 2007

KOTA BAHARU, April 2 (Bernama) -- Universiti Darul Naim, the first public university in Kelantan, is expected to begin its academic session in June next year, Higher Education Minister Datuk Mustapa Mohamed said Sunday.

He said discussions to build the university under the Ninth Malaysia Plan is expected to start soon.

"We are now preparing the details -- the location, concept and courses to be offered. All these require cabinet approval.

"At the earliest, student intake will be in June or July," he told reporters.
