Good, Let's All Focus in Nabbing NurinSharlinie's Killer and Forget About CJ-gate Whatever-The-F**k-Is-Going-On, Shall We?

There'll never be blogger's block over at The Sensintrovert. The lightning always strikes twice, thrice, even umpteenth times over here. Just look at this example:

In fact, the title was a recycling of the original post: "Good, Let's All Focus in Nabbing Nurin's Killer and Forget About CJ-gate, Shall We?"

Don't get me wrong here and please don't accuse me of being insensitive to both late Nurin and Sharlinie. What I'm trying to point out here is that how convenient the MSM could and would be in hijacking this case again. For what? For these reasons, as pointed out by the Malaysiakini letter-writer, Alex Tan. (Bolded italics are my addition).

- by portraying the killer as a sadist and the cruellest possible beast, our politicians know that the ‘rakyat’ will channel all our anger and hate onto the perpetrator. With our energy spent, hopefully we'll forget the transgressions of our equally evil (in different ways, of course) ministers, top businessmen, policemen, Rela personnel, judges, etc. (especially at the brink of the general election).

- once Nurul's killer is caught, he'll be convicted and punished to the full extent of the law (No, her killer is still at large out there). We'll all go home happy (Well, that's what the MSM is portraying us - 'feel good news', remember?). But does not mean the world would be a safer place then? No! At the risk of sounding like an expert, I dare say that the increase in pathology and crime in Malaysia (as well as the rest of the world) is because life doesn't make much sense anymore.

Last but not least, here's a poster of the missing Sharlinie by UM (at least they did one thing right here instead of flaming racial sentiments).

But seriously, do you trust the cops? The logo and the face of the head on the front pages are enough to put me off already!
